    Christie Sym:

Christie has been smashing up the Adventure race scene with wins in Annaconda series, Geoquest and MaxAdventure to name a couple. It was no surprise to us that she took to Ironman 5triathlon with a vengence placing 3rd in her 1st Gold Coast Half and a more impressive 2nd at Busselton Ironman - her first ever Ironman with the fastest bike split.
Christie now trains in Colardo chasing the dream of continued Ironman glory and so far is doing supurbe.

    Katrin Van der Spiegel:

Katrin got introduced to mountainbiking in 2004 and made her debut into 24 hour solo racing in 2005 at the Mont 24 hour, winning her first Australian 24 solo Champion title.Following this win, Katrin joined forces with Clarence Street Cyclery and started racing at an elite level. Katrin’s dominated endurance mountainbiking includes three Australian 24 hour Solo titles (05,07 & 08) and silver at the 2008 World 24 Hr Solo Championships in Canmore, Canada. With the kids getting to school age, it became increasingly harder to combine the roles of a mum, insurance professional and elite MTB althlete, so from 2009 on, Katrin turned her focus from MTB to adventure racing with husband Richard Mountstephens again impressive results winning Geoquest and placeing top 5 in the greuling 5 day XPD race.
Katrin is back on the MTB with support from Cannondale and CBD and shall be trying to imporve on the 2nd place at the last world Championships in Canberra This October.

One of the few places you can actually keep up with Katrin is www.ridingmum.com

    Gary Milburn:

Gary's return to XC racing has seen success in a short space of time recently winning the Rocky Trail 8 hour and Awaba 4 hour club race. His motocross experience held him well winning the Homebush 4X and keeping the nice guy demenor in place (no elbows required). Gary has been picked up by Cannondale for the new season along with Hammer Nutrition and Brave Soldier. The poster boy can be found at his blog at - http://gmillburn.wordpress.com/

    Team Rockstar Racing:

CBD has supported the Rockstar crew since the early days and its great to see them now as the pre eminant team on the Australian MTB circuit. With wins in all major marathon events in Australian in the past 3 years and a roster of riders such as Craig Gordon, Troy Glennon, Sean Lewis and more recently Josh Carlson they will be a force to reacon with again in 2011.

To check how th eboys are rocking in 2011 see www.rockstarracing.com.au

    Hugh Stodardt:

Hugh Stodard has an uncanny habbit of appearing at the top of the field when you least expect it. Althogh now we are never surprised. Well known for his destruction of all in the Maxadventure 24hr solo adventure races, his wins in Geoquest and top 4 finish at XPD with team mates Katrin and Richard he also places top in his class at 100km mountian bike races. Less known though is Hugh's previous double life as Australian Champion 18 foot skiff racer in 2008 on Asko.

While he dosen't have a blog or web site you can track him down at you will see him at the front of most races when it gets hard. Seems its more the racing than the result that he likes, which is why we like supporting him.

    Richard MountStephens:

Richard has supported us long before upstart wife Katrin got the Cannondale gig and is well known in the adventure racing and rogaining scene for excellent navigation ability, which also comes in handy when negoiating with Katrin. While he can ride with the best of them his prowess on foot recently had him in the winning Oxfam trailwalker team with a record time of 12 hours 7 minutes for the 100km trail run. And you think 100km on a bike is hard.

    Angry Doctor - Sponsorship:

The Doctor holds a special place as we helped each year ride singletrack and make trail with Tom and Alina from AROC. These guys always put 120% in every year to scrub trails, work with the local commuinity and put on an excellent race. We can only help a little but we hope it helps add to the experience - besides we love the singletrack.

    Dirt Works - Netural Support:

Each year we help save a few racers day at Dirt Works fixing everyting from missing chainrings to imploding suspension. Its been getting a lot better racers get more experience and better prepared adn no do not ask for a suspension overahul or full bike service just cause you were too lazy to book it in at your local. :

    Gear Up Girl - Instruction:

Bicycle NSW started a great incentive for Women riders to get introduced in a comfortable approachable environment. For Girls only it has been a great experience seeing a lot of women who have either nover ridden a bike or got into it because of the other half learing the basics and enjoying their riding a lot more as a result.

    Wannaride:

We work closely with the guys from Wannaride supporting the Appin and Awaba races through sponsorship and race support as well as The popular Skills Days held at Ourimbah.
